When to Visit Riga?

19th of December 2018

The best time to visit Riga is during the summer and autumn months as this is the time of the year with the most daylight hours enabling you to have a longer day enjoying all that Riga has to offer. However, if you like low temperatures and snow, you should come to Riga during winter. This city is extremely beautiful throughout the year.

Below are some months perfect for visiting in Riga

January – escape the tourists by visiting the Latvian capital during its most quiet month. Less tourists means no queues, more personal attention and deserted medieval streets to explore in peace.

February – this is the best month for winter sports activities. Feast on bobsleigh, ice cricket and skiing or Snowboarding.
